Anne Keefe was a trailblazer for women in broadcasting, beginning her career in both radio and television in Rochester.  Joining KMOX at a time when few women held newsroom roles, she was quickly embraced by KMOX listeners as she built a career defined by professionalism, fairness, and compassion.

Her thoughtful reporting and leadership opened doors for future generations and strengthened KMOX’s reputation for intelligent, balanced journalism. Guests on her “At Your Service” program – especially newsmakers – quickly encountered her unyielding, no-nonsense approach to interviewing, and her steadfast efforts to be fair meant no one could determine her political leanings. Keefe’s legacy continues as a model of grace and credibility on the air.
